The Bridges Peer Project provides summer support, ongoing educational opportunities, and work-readiness skills in an inclusive setting. This initiative features a FREE six-week summer day camp for children ages 10–14, with and without disabilities, made possible through our partnership with Pathways to Partnership. The camp includes fun daily field trips, adding excitement and hands-on learning to each day. Research shows that inclusive programs benefit all participants, fostering stronger peer relationships and natural support systems. Students will continue building these connections through monthly meetups during the school year. The summer curriculum focuses on goal setting, career exploration, entrepreneurship, and self-advocacy, with community partners offering hands-on experiences in a variety of professions and trades.
