Training and Education
At Bridges, we support youth and adults with disabilities or barriers to employment at every stage, from career exploration and job readiness to full-time job coaching and independent work.
We help individuals discover and build career paths tailored to their strengths, goals and interests. Our programs begin early with hands-on peer projects, school partnerships, job-readiness training and career-focused experiences to prepare participants for success.
Ages 10–13:
Discover, Explore and Grow Together
Students explore career interests, build job readiness skills and make lasting friendships in an inclusive, supportive environment through our year-round Peer Project.
Ages 15½–21:
Hands-On Job Readiness
Through partnerships with 13 school districts, students gain real-world work experience and develop essential job readiness skills to prepare for future careers.
Adults:
Job Training and Support
Job seekers develop essential workplace skills and professional confidence with the support of certified job coaches. Participants learn how to navigate employment through career counseling, on-site training and continuous guidance for long-term success.
“Natalie LOVES going to Bridges. They treat her with respect, and it shows. She has learned a variety of skills to develop her work skills while also exploring what type of work interests her.”
- Laura Haney, Mother of Natalie
